Man I hope not. China losing to Japan would create a little mayhem on this bbs. I dont wanna rag on Japan but they REALLY REALLY SUCK. Lets admit guys, every rockets fan is hoping that Yao be the savior of this fanchise. Losing to Japan would bring up serious questions about Yao's play. So, China plaese to dont lose to Japan.
What we're really hoping is Yao starts bench pressing one of the Japanese players and maintain his workout schedule.
I'm sorry, but I just don't see what you guys and gals are talking about. I can't really see the improvement in physical stature. Can anyone post some side by side pics, maybe close ups of his arms from before and after? I really just don't see that big of a difference, in fact I'm pretty disappointed. I thought he was going to be a little bigger.
I think he is a little bigger but I doubt that you can see a remarkable difference. He was at 297 lbs. I don't think he did or could put on 30 lbs. It probably was closer to 10-15 lbs. That is only 3-5% of his weight. Very hard to see.
I see a difference. He doesn't seem quite as lanky on top. He is a bit better toned. In my opinion (for what it's worth), the bulking up needs to be done gradually. From personal experience, when you bulk up too fast it hurts your flexibility. I think he should continue to refine that sweet base line shot while adding 10 pounds of muscle for this season.
