    One could probably argue the jail population %'s, graduation %'s, welfare %'s to prove that indeed African-Americans have it tougher. But that's too far of a derail for GARM.

    I think Pest_Ctrl said it best. Everyone has a favorite player that's not on their "home" team. Besides, maybe its cooler over there to have a different jersey than Yao's.

    Your understanding is correct. They even limit farmers from moving to cities on the mainland because of fear that the would be overrun by people seeking jobs. Given the level of prosperity in Hong Kong plus its already high levels of overcrowding, opening up the border would be a horrible idea.

    that sucks, i really don't think rebbok did a horrible job. Yao should sign with Nike or Addidas at the very first.

    Kobe is my all-time favourite nba player, too. But Yao is a national hero. That's two levels of admiration.
