Yao is very proud of being Chinese. It seems pretty obvious that his child will also be Chinese. We're not talking about Cuba here.
Dual citizenship is not uncommon in the USA. There are lots of people that are citizens of both US and Canada or US and Mexico.
ive never watched bachelor or any of that garbage. its really sad what has happened to my beloved television over the last few years. simpsons forever!
To clarify, dual citizenship is NOT recognized by either China or the United States. However, the United States has never actually legally removed citizenship from someone claiming to be dual citizen (there is no procedure for this). A case involving dual citizenship has never been disputed in the Supreme Court. You can trust me on this; I took a course on citizenship from a very well known authority on constitutional law.
really? cool, so I won't get fix ticket on this one. by the way, has anybody experience using chinese passport to go back to china then use US passport to got back to the state?
It doesn't work. You US passport would be missing an entry stamp from China and the US custom does not like that. I know a friend who tried this and got fined heavily (and being taken custody for a few days I believe).
