The danger is that the Rockets will make fake progress by getting some wins in the regular season but they won't do anything to fix the core problems, which will show up in the post-season.
i feel that loss in confidence, too. and i've never seen yao being so so frustrated. we tend to play the opposing team's tempo, rather than forcing the other team play our tempo. i'm not advocating a jvg style offense all the time, but against an extremely athletic team such as the 76ers, if you play run and gun you're bound to lose.
