Yao's incredible, but he's not me, Walton decrees

    Barkley was dead wrong on Yao Ming's ability. But he more often is right than wrong.

    But you can always tell Barkley truely beleives what he says because his opinions are usually well thought out. His Yao Ming opinion wasn't well thought out but you could tell he believed it.

    He also will admit when he is wrong...see Donkey.

    Bill Walton seems to spout things off the top of his head that you know if he'd givin' it two more seconds he probably wouldn't have said it.

    To each their own on Walton. I understand why people hate Calvin Murphy too but I find his knowledge insightful and I usually find him entraining. I just prefer not to listen to Walton's commentary because I find too many of his statements disrespectful and poory conceived.

    I read somewhere he was the rhode island scholarship recepient as Bill
    Clinton was one. He is smart guy, not just one athelete that doesnt have brian.

    Walton stated Yao could revolutionize the game in 2000. I thought he's overstating at the time. He was among the first group of westerners that hopped on Yao's bandwagon. Cudos to him.
