*Adds Himalayas and liu1107 to the YOF ignore list...

What the hell does this bolded part even mean? You want T-Mac to grab Yao's leg and never let go? Or you want Yao to never lose T-Mac's hands? I'd prefer if they just develop their on court partnership thank you very much. We don't need more Steve/Cat rumours...

Then go post on a Lakers board about it. If you're a Lakers fan, you don't deserve to post on this board.

In other words, he's the cancer. Then why the hell is Les so stupid to give him a max? Why the hell are so many fans so stupid to demand to keep him or trade him for Odom & Mihm or even KG? We should be celebrating if you can get rid of the cancer and get a Kandi as return. Heck, I am willing to get rid of the cancer for nothing. Apparently you are the last smart mind remaining in the whole basketball world.

Basically what you said can be translated to
    1. Yao is getting his stats mostly in gabage time
    2. Rox is losing because they try to feed the ball down low

Yao might not be a great player, he probably hasn't reached potential he is supposed to. However, if I say your judgment is biased, that would be a too light word.

You must have some prejudice in your mind at first, and then try to prove it via filtered observations. That is not good.

Yes it totally does. If it's "your" team and you are "the man" - then you have to "put the team on your back and carry them to victory". Doesn't matter if the other 4 starters wouldn't start on any other team the league and you're being double teamed constantly. Failure to do so means that you are weak, and do not have the "will to win". plain and simplest.

but indeed YAO didn't carry this team to get a single win, including ORL and NOK. 0-8 is there. what YAO can do is just to help TMAC and ROX into playoff :(

    I couldn't agree more.

    Signed,

Michael Jordan's six game losing streak with the Chicago Bulls in April of 1989.

Tiger, agree with your post. Using Yao as a Ewing clone down in the low post constantly is way too predictable, lets the other team beat him up too much, and wastes his talents.

If he moves more, switches out when he is denied the low post, he can help create more team movement, more opps for Tmac or Head to come in the lane, pass more and create a more fluid offense. This may then create more opps for Yao to slide back down into the post or for swift or Jhow to do something with it. I really hope Gundy is hearing the criticism from around the league and is trying to do something about it - a lot of people see it.

I am really looking forward to seeing some improvement on the road trip in team play, passing and fluid movement.

How long has JVG been coaching Yao and now he lets him play the high post. Great we'll see what Yao can really do in about 10 years. :D

Even if you give MJ 4 scrubs, he might have lost most of those 8 games. Maybe not Hornets or Magic but Yao is not MJ.

I recall an article in the Chronicle that basically said that JVG lives on diet Coke, M&Ms, and game tape... not necessarily in that order. So odds are good JVG has noticed it. :)

and for the two prior years he took them to the playoffs and they almost beat the Pistons. He also led the league in scoring. Yao didnt even avg. a double double and couldnt even avg. 20+ points. T-Mac= superstar Yao=borderline all-star

I agree. I was being sarcastic. All the crap about teams needing one guy to carry them has always been crap to me - or that there are guys who actually can win titles solo.

Ginobili average 16 pts a game last season, Does that mean whoever average more than 16 last season is better than Ginobili?
