Without him to play for them, that team wouldnt be able to qualify for any tournaments.

I htink someone mentioend before that the boneheaded officials were forcing him to play again this summer. Yao needs to get some balls and take Nancy Reagan's advice: Just Say No!

I am not as concerned with his stamina as I am with his hands. I used to think Patrick Ewing had the worst hands in the NBA...apparently he is teaching Yao to take over. This guy drops more passes and lets more rebounds slip through his hands than anyone I have seen. Perhaps that is partially attributed to stamina.

I think Yao still have to play this summer to get Chinese National Team qualify for the World Championship, but it will be an easy ride. I think Yao will only have to play the game vs. Korea, the CNT owns every other teams even without helps from Yao.

Yao is a great defender against his own guy ( They average at most 2 points a game if I'm not mistaken). JVG should allow Yao to guard his own guy like Shaq....This would accomplish 2 things

    1. Yao might never foul out of a game again.

    2. Conserving energy like Shaq by not having to chase down little guards, therefore allowing him to play more minutes and concentrating on offense.

That might have something to do widh Yao's hand strength. Yao has a soft touch, but no hand strength. Shaq has incredible hand strength, but no touch. It's hard to have them all I guess.
