Smeg, Clutch told Jeff that if he's going try to be the frontman for the website that he had better clean his face up.
All I have left is the goatee, no moustache or full beard. As for me, I'm the bass player, not the singer. I don't want to be the center of anything at that thing. It was nuts. I had police pushing me back as I'm snapping photos and I'm walking backwards and running into the arrival/departure monitors! LOL! In that photo, I was just trying not to get goosed by channel 11's boom mic!
Great pictures guys! I'm sure everyone all the Clutchcity members appreciate all the efforts! Thanks.
lol, Jeff, did you get a feel for whether or not Ming had gotten any sleep in the plane? If he feels the pressure to actually attend tonight's preseason game AND if he didn't get any sleep last night, we're going to lose a day of practice tomorrow.
You guys are cracking me up with those limo photos. You definitely need a Clutch-City-mobile, painted appropriately, for your freeway pursuits.
I tell ya, he looked exhausted. rockHEAD said, "He looks like he just wants to lay down!" That pretty much sums it up. He didn't seem overwhelmed or anything by the people. He seems very calm and very used to this kind of attention. He was even making jokes with some of the reporters, so that's good. But, physically, he looked worn out.
Props to Jeff and Rockhead for showing us what real fans will do when they got too much time on their hands. J/K! Thanks again guys.
I thought maybe you where trying to forge your own success after all the success the Beard had with the SOR
Anyone that's flown across the Pacific knows how he's feeling right now. It's going to take him a week to get really adjusted, and today his body is just cryin' for rest. I bet he leaves at half-time of tonight's game and catches some ZZZs. Most of practice should tomorrow be ok; he'll just crash around 4-5 PM again tomorrow.
Maybe we could get the RocketsPimp to set him up with some laying down services!!!! btw have the rockets got him a specially made extra long bed for him to sleep in????
BTW: Channel 39 interviewed me so I may show up on the 9pm news, but they interviewed a few different people, so we'll see.
Thanks for the pictures rockHead and Jeff. I must say that this Sunday afternoon was great getting the play by play of Yao Ming's trip. All these pictures from overseas and here in Houston to look at. It was just like me being there. I want to thank everyone, all the rocket fans, for making this a great Sunday afternoon. Best of all, we still got a game to watch. AAHHH... Life is good.
Have flown the flight a few times and have always slept well, but my guess would be his size would making sleeping/fitting/spreading out tough.
