Actually, it was reported to dunk a solid ball not a just air-infalted ball.

In a few years...we should do everything we can to pick Yi. That kid is serious talent. Yao and Yi together would be crazy.

Either that or "T-Mac is a selfish ballhog, we need to trade him". It'll be interesting to see which one wins out.

BTW, I hope the main complaint in the new season will be "we need to stop winning games with more than 30 points, or the rest of league will see no hope and just collapse".

They did beat the Mavs SL team when Yao played. ;)

Seriously, you need at least five decent players to win.

Yi is still raw, lack of experience and strength. But he is improving crazy fast. So he may indeed turns out to be a big time star.

He was humble, but on the court he was a fierce competitor.

A friend in China, closesly connected within the basketball community, says that Yi was in fact born in 1981, making him around the same age as Yao.

I forgot where I heard it on this forum, but people are saying the Chinese basketball officials are changing Yi's official age to 20 years old. You have to wonder if Yao is already 32. ;) If that's the case, our window of opportunity is quickly closing. We need to rebuild next year.

Then... according to your friend, it must be very easy to fake a 7 yr difference between his listed age and "actual" age.

I just heard that Yao bought one hundred and fifty-seven Yi shares. He is just trying to bump up the stocks for selfish reasons ;)
