Different injuries and different situations. The Spurs need some help to get into the Top 3 seeds. The Rockets control their own outcome for a Top 3 seed.
Play him as needed...meaning if we go up by 15 he doesn't need to be out there putting more pressure on his foot. Ideally, we won't need him out there for more than 30 minutes.
Yeah, but Duncan has not been as important to his team as Yao has been lately. Also, they played the Kings, one of the worst teams in the league, and only won by 3 on a terrible no-call. We play the Hornets, a good playoff team. If Yao starts to feel pain during the game, take him out, but I say play him as long as you can.
Exactly the Kings the worst team in the league its not NO..... I'm tired of SA winning the SW Division every year...........
http://blog.nola.com/hornetsbeat/20...ch_byro_11.html Yao dont have to. The only game need Yao is the game against Dal in April 15th.
This is great news because it must mean that injury is not serious at all. They'd probably rest him if they were the least bit worried. Then again, we are in a tight seed race.
maybe they are guessing that this could be a playoff match-up and want yao to get use to the hornets b4 playoffs starts
we still need to be careful with him. Just put him on bench and start Hayes or Uncle M and see how the game goes.
If they say Yao is playing, that means that they aren't worried about him injuring it more. We can't afford to coast to the playoffs when the #2 seed is on the line. This time last year we could've potentially had the best record in the west at the end of the season had we won those last two games against Denver and Utah. Instead we lost them and we were the #5 seed. I don't think I could live with myself if we played it too safe with Yao, lost 1 of the two games and got the 4th or 5th seed again.
