    No. Yao is still very good. He is very good if he can get more minutes he is easily still a double digit scorer in the teens somewhere. Just cant get the minutes is all. Easily one of the most effective centers in the NBA still and tops if he plays minutes to reflect it. He will be cut back in minutes is all though.

    Yao's quote was referring to his playing level. Obviously if Arenas had played at a 2nd rounder level he wouldn't be making 16M a year now, would he?
