exactly. we're a great home team and this year a lot of the better teams are very mediocre road teams. so we def. want to get homecourt.

if we don't have homecourt, you can kiss any playoff success goodbye.

As in no problems. That's why a person who's HIV Positive has HIV while a person who's HIV Negative doesn't have it. Or why they say somebody tested positive or negative for drugs/steroids. Negative is a good thing.

It's T-Mac. T-Mac is pinching the right foot of Yao's voodoo doll at home. T-Mac doesn't want to left behind as a 1st round virgin. :D

I expect Yao to see no less than 5 doctors until he finds one who will operate on his foot.

Maybe they are wanting to face San Antonio or Portland...and this is a way of guaranteeing it.

What I don't understand is if they knew he was dealing with soreness in his foot before the Kings game, why did Adelman put him back in when the game was locked up in the fourth quarter? This is very strange.

This makes me think there is nothing going on here other than just resting Yao for the playoffs, and making sure they like their playoff position.

sometimes coaches just play guys unless trainers or doctors say don't play them. everybody is "sore" at this stage in the season so adelman thought it was nothing.

remember, his stress fracture problem went on for months i believe.

if they end up resting yao that means there is something wrong because they don't want a Rusty Yao coming into the first 2 games of the palyoffs...i hope this rumor is not true an dYao plays in on monday ....he needs to get in a groove for the playoffs.....

I ready Feigns article and Yao seemed pretty upbeat and not worried at all..so I think its nothing at all....i would be reallly worried if Yao didn't talk to repoirters or something but he was joking aobut it which definitely makes me more relaxed aobut this whoel thing.......

I could see that as a possibility. Knowing the Jazz are stuck in the 8th spot if we lose these last 2 games, Morey and company thought this would be a good way to rest Yao for the playoffs, and subtly tank.

i agree with that. i'm not worried about this. let the big guy rest and the rocket should win 1 of the last 2. hell they could win both.

what about rustiness after being off for 1 week!!...if he is rusty the first 2 games and we lose, THEN its pointless to rest him!!....he needs to get ready for th eplayoffs and play....

he won't be rusty with a week off. he wasn't rusty after the all star break. yao gets beat up every game so let the guy get some rest. the team should be able to shoulder the load with him out for the final 2 games.

I hope he isn't out because they have a good chance of catching the Nuggets. I hope it's nothing. I'm sure we'll hear something in the next couple of hours.
