I remember all those people making Yao's reduced minutes seem like he was going to be playing 75% of the time. The 75% was right, but on the wrong end
it seems like we won't be able to switch our pick with ny in next year draft. it isn't needed anymore.
So he gets hurt even with playing only half a game. It's like he and Oden have a competition going on to see which one is more injury-prone.
Oh My God, Yao Ming is Toast !!!!!!!! <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JxR7RYuF2fU?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JxR7RYuF2fU?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
Yao just can't catch a break. Just as he was getting comfortable with himself, getting into the right shape he goes down. After missing 3 weeks he will come back as rusty as he was at first. It will take him some time again to feel comfortable playing. And the team, not good for them either.
I hope he just retires if he doesnt manage to stay healthy for the rest of the season. It was sad, but at least him n tracy brought us to playoffs a few times, finally winning the first round too.
wtf is going on. something's fishy. first just 1 week, then another week, and today two more weeks. what the hell is up with that. it kinda pisses me off because i was looking forward to him playing and then all of a sudden they keeping adding up more weeks. whats next, yao out until after all star break???
Sounds like the t-mac situation, doesn't want him playing to make sure he's healthy at the trade deadline
In the original thread, from 2009, I said he was done as an everyday player, but I would have much preferred to be wrong. But, yeah, he's nothing more than a anchor at this point.
Poor Yao. He's starting to feel like Ralph Sampson after his knee injury. Never was the same after that.
