Agree, leave Yao for bench for a few weeks next season.

Intesting that he will not leave unless cleared to practice...I like it...Let's just not clear him so he can rest/stay healthy...But you know he wants to be there so I'm assuming he will when they start...

i don't think you want yao to miss a chance to represent his home country. this is an honor anybody would want to have.

the problem with most of us is he seems to play in the summer EVERY YEAR he has been in the NBA. just play in important games. i hope he's healthy when the olympics start and kick butt, gain some confidence in his game again and body, then come back stronger than ever.

It's ok, let him sit in November when we are playing the likes of the Bobcats, Knicks, and Pacers.

Keep him out till the Olympics and put some kevlar on his left leg (knee to foot). I'll bet a lot of the players are going to target Yao's left leg during the Olympics. He'd better elbow them in the forehead before they get too close! Do it Yao!

Man if Loren Woods can help us a little bit next season. It will be great. If he can hold his own against Yao it will be good to have him. He looks like a good passer from the high post and have more tools in offense than Deke (although Deke is so much better defensibly) If he can be a decent defensive player it will be a good asset for the team, and we can spend the little money we have left and the draft pick to upgrade other areas as a wing player.

i hope yao is not cleared to play in the olympics, yea its selfish but honestly he still needs time to rest and relax, that is only going to make him compete to the higest level because thats all he knows how to do. regardless hope he stays healthy and gets some new shoes that would be better for his size and weight.
