Yao has a high pain threshold so if he says things are going well then believe me they are. If we win a few games in a row and go on a little run like I believe we will then when Yao comes back we will make an even bigger run. Keep the faith. Go Rockets!!!

As much as you dislike him wearing a Rockets uniform, Yao ain't going anywhere. You might as well learn to deal with it.

Even if you dislike/hate Yao Ming, IMHO, this is not something a Rockets fan should say with such malice to curse your major star, who has been the centrepiece and nucleus of the O&D of the Rockets.

If you're not a Rockets fan or a Yao Ming fan, then just get the hell out of the Houston Rockets forum.

Where did he say that he wanted it to happen? With the way this season is going, I would be surprised if it didn't happen.

Now, Tmac and Ming may come back at the same time. Did I use the word "back?" Oh foot, I should have avoided that word!

Exactly what I thought. Also reminded me that langal(?) said some people here are even pissed when Yao makes the All-Star game in Houston. Oh well, maybe we also have to deal with this.

Can you read between his lines ???

Deuce was saying Yao Ming can probably make it back to match up with Shaq.

And Will came in and said, just in time for Shaq to step on it. There is a malice intent in it that he wished Yao Ming to be injured again.

Dude tone it down. Will is a mod here and a respected member. a YOF questioning a loyalty of a long time rockets fan here. now i've seen it all. most YOF's have probaly never even heard of the rockets before yao joined theM.. i find it hillarious when this fickle fans who only care about there player and not the team, question the MODS who work tirelessly to keep this sit afloat.

Will is a mod here and a long time Rockets fan, and worked hard for the site, we all appreciate that. That doesn't mean everything he says is unquestionable or undebatable. He's a writer and is very funny at time, but a joke/sacarsm like the one in this thread doesn't make me too comfortable. I don't know what will be your take if he makes (I doubt) the similar remark regarding TMac's back pain. In fact, even if the joke was made about Moochie, I wouldn't be too comfortable about it. Of course, that's just my opinion, but I am entitled to it. Call me YOF or over-sensitive all you want to, but one thing you have to understand, mod or not, YOF or not, 20,000 or 20 posts, those facts have no value in an argument. A serial killer still has the right to disagree with something a well-respected and honored priest said, and his opinion shouldn't be automatically dismissed.

I respect all the mods in this site to the utmost. They contribute their valuable time to keep this excellent site running. I agree that the poster who jumped on Will has overreacted. I see nothing malicious in what Will has said. Whether it is poor taste or not is a judgement call and you should decide it for yourself.

There is a poster who said something which implies Tmac will become injury-prone like Grant Hill in another thread. Know what? He got toasted by the other posters. Does he really wish Tmac sustain a serious injury like Grant Hill? I don't think so. Is the joke poor taste? May be. But I think it's stupid to pile on someone like that because of a non-malicious joke.

By the way, what's up with your YOF name callings? What has that poster said to make you think he's a Yao Ming only fan? It's kinda weak to have to label someone for no apparent reason in order to make your point.

well, in this case, the labels fits.

not saying I agree with labeling, I quit doing it about a week after it started, but I guarantee you pryuen would be nowhere near here if Yao wasnt here. His posting history bears this out.

So, in this case, I think it safe to say that pryuen is a Yao Only Fan...hence the label.
