Yao started to post on BBS of his own website

Before long we will have someone who tells us he's Yao Ming and starts posting here. Whether he's real or not is another question.

Since it's Yao's official site and there's at least two moderators on that board I think it's highly improbable for someone to impersonate Yao without being discovered and shot down quickly.

I find this following passage of Yao Ming that wasn't translated of interest to the fans on this board. Yao's daily internet loggon time.

To put it short, it says that Yao usually logs on the net anytime between 11 A.M and 12:30 at noon, and between 6:30 P.M. and 11 P.M, plus other random loggons. It doesn't say a whole lot about Yao's daily activities but it's good to know that Yao has some free time as some are worried about his training exceeding his capacity. BTW, that Taipei team story is funny. Thanks and keep it coming.

 

Unfortunately, the Chinese BBS is reserved only for Chinese Citizens... Chinese ppl from HK, Macau, Canada, the US and anywhere outside of mainland China are not allowed to sign up... unless you still have your Mainland Chinese ID card with ya...

I asked the moderator yesterday and he gave me the above response...

I am from California, registration only took me 30 seconds. In fact, that BBS has both English and Chinese pages.

 

maybe we can ask les for a colin pine bbs to tell us all the important stuff like: what yao had for breakfast, his favorite cpu games, what shampoo he uses... its dumb but you know theres a market for it...

 

better yet, why don't just invite him, or even yao to come here ... it'll be so cool.

Sometimes a dumb question works... I just find out why a number of newbies from China started so many threads here - because that is normal for a Chinese BBS site & they see nothing wrong with that...
