Yeah T-Mac extended the streak to 22 games when Yao went out at around 11 I think. Yao owes him 22 plus interest. 25 win streak, here we come.
Yao has always been a fighter - it's great to see his other star players both recognizing it and embracing it. It's strange to wish this but, I'd like to see him play against Howard and Shaq every game - he always brings it when it comes to those two guys. In any case, Yao doesn't owe TMac anything; they both strive for the same goal and they both realize the importance of the other. I'm just hoping that the team as a whole gets some synergy and makes a real run at the playoffs this year.
Good. So it seems that all the local Houston supporters revel in the "chemistry" between the two while most Chinese fans believe there is actually crevice. As an ordinary Chinese viewer, I see T-mac more liable to find Scola and Landry if he has to pass the ball to the paint. I don't blame T-mac. Yao's butter-fingers really ruined lots of Tmac's wonderful assists, and that must have made him frustrated.
good, then yao must know what tmac wants, -----get out the first round oops, that monkey is on yao's back as well, so yao better to be health when playoff comes
We have many playoffs maidens,Tmac, Yao, Battier, Scola, Landry, Brooks almost a our members.Include all our starters (if Ron come off the bench)..
I also appreciate yao's performances in recent games. Now we can have a lot more times to see yao dominating the paint ignoring opponents' jostlings and streches. But I think yao should pay back more to artest who is his solider that takes most of pressure on defense end and always gives him perfect assits on offence end.
Funny that a positive thread like this goes only 2 pages, then you got 5+ paged threads of nothing but b****ing, negativity and flaming.
no i just think he has his timing and rhythm back. He's not playing harder or faster. He's just playing with more decisiveness. The whole team is playing with more decisiveness...It takes time.
How about a alive shrimp dinner for TMac? That would be cool. Yes, I think that Yao should pay TMac back something on the floor by getting more wins. As the MRI result issue, I do think that Yao started to play the real NBA games after knowing that his food was OK even although it was not 100%. I also think the reduced play time also helped.
Time for him to pay us back and not get injured, or seriously injured if you want to be a realist. Anything think Yao should have to be in a wheel chair all the time except when playing ball? Keep him off his legs. Haha.
Mark my words, if these guys are healthy and close to their best come late in the season, the burners are going to turn on. I feel like we've been playing sub par and under the radar, and we're 9-5. It's fun to imagine what this could be when everything clicks.
I disagree , team will just never leave Yao uncovered , they will leave Scola and Landry alone but not Yao.
