That is exactly what I was thinking, why Smush was not given a T.

I wish Yao went a step further and accuse refs of being racists.

Stern is a b****, you've got to slap his hard over and over again to get the message accross. Only a 50% NBA sales drop in China will knock some sense into his thick skull.

Yao, hit them where it hurts most! Let them pay dearly on accounting book. Tell your chinese fans to boycotte all NBA merchandise for 3 months. Stern will wet his pants.

Right, you have been raped once before. So next time you got raped again, you should just keep your mouth shut, right? You are really something.

Glad Yao is speaking up but he needs to keep it up. Take a page from Kobe, he was b**tching and whining to the refs on almost every play. Kobe knows the NBA is competitive and a couple of calls a game can mean the difference between winning and losing. Kobe is smart with his complaints, he doesn't do it in the flow of the game and affect the transition D, he does it during play stoppages and time outs. He is sort of like an NBA player/lawyer protesting for his team.

Yao needs to start complaining to the refs, that one play where Kwame hit him on his arm and changed the path of the shot, didn't draw one word from Yao.

yeah but with microphones in his face, in the heat of the moment, with english being his second language, he said what he felt from the heart, and it was good enough to hopefully make some noise to the league.

    It's true.
They are hitting his arms and there's a lot of contact on his shots.
If they call all the fouls that Yao Ming is fouled on, then we would have won the past 2 games.

Telling a truth and complaining are two totally different things. Here is what yao said:

"I know I'm big, but that's not my fault. They let them have two hands pushing on my back and keep pushing while I'm shooting the ball. I wish the league or somebody can help with this and look at the film. They don't let me do that, so why do they let them do it?"

He barely expressed his wishful wish. I don't see how the League is going to fine him. If NBA does, Yao can surely bring NBA to a US court. I think Pacer did once when their players were suspended after a fight with Detroit. Yao is THE most dominant player and super star now, he deserve superstar treatment, peroid.

what NBA player doesn't think they get fouled every single time they miss?

haha! it's nice to see yao's disposition change. this is the yao we need.

i have been impressed this year, if nothing else, by the look on yao's face when he gets the ball. i mean, this guy wants to win and he wants to win bad!

agaisnt the lakers i saw one time when he scored and when he was joggin down court afterward he had this look like: "damn straight. thats all day M F-ers."

whether he wins MVP this year or not, if he can continue this type of leadership and play... he WILL win an MVP award in the next few seasons.

    yao - you're the ish

W/O fragile Mac, Rockets would be able to get at least 1.5 premium players. TMac doesn't bring wins, Rockets are just one shoot away from two wins. If we have had one good jumper shooter, we would have win these two back2back. If we had two good shooters instead of Rafer and Mac, we would have been on the top the the league.

TMac was good, so was Alan Houston, Weber, etc... Who cares. What I care is that TMac meets our expectation, not sitting on the bench or contributing subpar.

But if refs call these fouls early, opponent centers would play less agressively, consequently Yao would score more.

it's the time, Yao should speak for himself now,
i watched the entired game, especially in 4th QT
and two overtimes, laker's big two's are pushing
Yao all the time, even when Yao was shooting.
If half of them are called, Yao would get at least
ten free throws and we would get a win.

Yao, speak it out, fans will support you.

Some people pretend to be fair to say we never lose a game because of ref. If we can play a little better or shoot one more ball in the net, blah blah blah.
I am sick of that argument.

Many games are decided by a couple of points, and we are a team not far suprior than many of opponents. So we desperately need fair officiating.

Yao could play better, so is the rest of team. But come one, how about fair play spirit. The big guy is never a whiner. When he speaks out, we fully support him.

Totally agree with this one, thought it several times during the game last night. He was complaining and flailing his arms multiple times directing complaints DIRECTLY at the refs and not one even thought about T'ing him up.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It wasn't just Kobe either. It was everybody on the damn Lakers. Parker took off his headband and was arguing the entire time. I have no idea why he wasn't T-ed up!

If it makes us feel any better, Bonzi was also complaining to the refs after a bad call and he didn't get a technical. But they did get Head in the 2nd OT. I don't even know what he did!?

Can not complain about that. Head pound the ball into the stands.

Im so glad that Yao brought this up. The Refs are TERRIBLE at officiating Yao. He dropped 35 on them and it would have been easily over 40 if they did call the fouls. His comments might finally open the ref's wrinkled, old eyes.

On a side note.....Kobe is the biggest cry baby in the NBA. I thought Dirk was bad but Kobe is in his own league about whining. The worst part about it is that he never gets technical fouls. I hate Kobe more than ever after last night. Also, anyone notice how the commentators were orgasiming after every Kobe shot and were so nonchalant about Yao's field goals? It was making me sick.

I forgot about the Bonz, you are right, he came close by complaining last night and again no call. ON the Luther T, he hit the ball on a wild rebound into the stands. I don't think it was on purpose, but it's an automatic T if you send the ball into the stands for any reason....
