THAT IS JUST r****dED. Now Charles Barkley looks smart. OKAY. GIVING HIM AN F?!?!?! What did he do wrong? He HAD THE BEST FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE OF THE GAME. He only took one shot. WTF. Stupid EPSN. And Francis with B- Thank you very much. But rating All Star Game...that's hilarious. ILGAUSKAS DIDN'T EVEN GET TO PLAY. He only took one shot. How can you give him an F? USELESS ESPN. Especially the Posey/Artest crap they made up. But still...ESPN is the only one. What else is there?
Thats the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Its a damn all star game. It should be played with some intensity but its not a playoff game. No grades. And yao didnt deserve an F. He didnt play much and was the rookie on the court so didnt get many shots. Thats it.
The report card is a joke, when it gives Jordan a "B". The East would have won easily in regulation if Jordan had not played.
I somewhat agree. If he had not hit that clutch shot, his grade might have been lower. Personally, I give the NBA/TNT combo a D for trying to shove Jordan down everyone's throats this weekend. I am all for honoring a legend, but this was over-kill IMO.
...I really dont give a rats ass about the ASG....But Francis was much better than a B-. He had a great all aroudn game. Great shooting night, to go with 9 dishes and only 3 TO. pretty good game to me....oh and he had 20pts...
I agree that grading an All-star game is ridiculous and pointless. Especially when they don't play much. (Zylgazcus' grade was proof enough) Besides, like someone said, it's understandable for him to be passive in his first All-star game. A lot of people saw Yao Ming on TV for the first time last night.....and without knowing much about him, it would seem that he didn't look too great out there, 'cause he didn't. He fumbled the ball around a few times, was passive on the glass, and was being kept away from the ball with ease by the other forwards and centers. Then add the blue suede shoes to his bright red uniform; just not impressive for first time viewers. So to those that will mock him, don't get back on the bandwagon.
besides steve francis..(who only passed the ball to Yao ONCE)..all the other players act like Yao wasn't even in the game..on espn they were answering fans email and one person from New York ask "if Yao was treated fairly at the all-star" and the analysis.(forgot his name) said..it's typical of being a rookie..he said you have to start earn respect before you can score double digits in an all-star game..ha ha ha..just wait til next year...
