    I was listening to 610 radio tonight, and they were talking about Rocket Trade Rumors, I missed the broadcast because my girlfriend turned the radio off. If someone could please recap that for me, I would appreciate it.

    There was in the contract. Yao is not an employee of the Rocket's, he's a private contractor that lended his service to the Rockets. As far as his wage, I believe he will receives much more income from endorsment than his professional career (a la tiger woods). To do so he must continue to appeal to the people that the advertisers want him to, the market of 1.2 billion people with a booming economy. That's the difference between what makes him and other athlete. He must keep this uniqueness, which will be lost if he refuse to play for the national team.
