No, that honor belongs to the man who you want to replace him, Deke. If Yao wins Finals MVP this year, what will you do? We'll probably have to put you on suicide watch.
i want scola and hayes in. if you dont remember, we played better with scola and hayes than with yao. boozer miraculously stopped making shots once Yao came off the floor. scola and hayes were the reason we won that game.
how would he change his strategy? if he tries to play him close, boozer will burn him. if he stays back, boozer will drain shots all night. the best way for yao to stop him is to stay on the bench.
hayes can. he has shut him down completely when he is on him. blocks/strips/cause boozer to do the fadeaways... when we play the jazz, we just have to limit yao's time v. boozer as much as possible. have scola guard okur (scola owned him) and hayes guard boozer. we go to the smaller lineup. that's the versatility we didn't have last yr. just have yao play 30 mins v. the jazz.
Duncan, KG, Lamarcus Aldrige, Turiaf, basically any athletic PF (which we lack), however Hayes and Scola were doing enough to disrupt Boozer. You're overrating Boozer too much. I don't blame you, since all you see is Yao on Boozer, it's easy to think he's this untouchable superstar. We just need an athletic PF and he can be contained easily.
You have your opinion there. But he also deserves to have his opinion that not many players can stop Boozer. You are an idiot to try to implicate that he doesn't watch games of the other teams. How do you know anyway? Do you know him personally or what? You are freaking low to pull such a lame argument to discredit what other people said. Judging from your past posts, you don't seem to be anything remotely close to being a knowledgeable basketball fan anyway. You can lie that you have been following NBA basketball for 20 years. But my observation is that it has to be less than 3 years. Yeah I deserve to have my opinion here too, just like you do.
Well, that wasn't obnoxious of you at all. Boozer is a top 3, top 5 power forward. And no, Duncan couldn't slow him in the Conference Finals. I also noticed you neglected to answer my previous question of WHERE the Rockets' low post offence was going to come from if you take Yao out. Take your time.
