Yeah, but you could use that statistical info to bash Yao or KG. KG came out of high school and was 18. Yao was older and also played against inferior competition for two years longer than KG.

I was elated when we drafted Yao and am very pleased and would not trade Yao for KG, however I do think KG is getting way too much criticism here.

Just as we're comparing YAO to KG ... they play each other tomorrow :)

So Yao needs to drop 30pts 15reb and Rockets win 98-91

I THINK THIS MAKES A GOOD CASE FOR YAO HAVING HIS SUMMERS OFF, I THINK ITS TIME TO REBUFF HIS NATIONAL TEAM, C'MON YAO DEFECT, JUST LIKE ZHI ZHI. THEN YOU CAN DEVOTE ALL YOUR ENERGY TO THE ROCKETS, DON'T WORRY YOU'LL FIND ANOTHER GIRLFRIEND.

    HAHAHAHAHA LMAO!!!!

On a side note. I miss those no look over the head passes he used to make when he is in the post and the feeder cuts in using him as a pick. Those were nice.

With last night's 30, we're up at 21.0 points even now... he jumped right over 20.0 rather quickly. Here's looking at 22pts and 11 rebounds.

Currently, it looks like there are only 3 people in the 20/10 club. Elton Brand dropped out of the club with his 22/4 game last night.

    The current list is

    Yao: 22.5/10.2
    Garnett: 21.8/12.5
    Marion: 21.4/12.1

That is simply amazing. With Yao playing this way, TMac can come back and not have to worry about being the man. He can just be a glorified Reggie Miller, and we're golden. All we really need is some depth at guard and we'll be pretty good to go.

Those numbers are a little old, actually. Right now, Yao's Roland Rating is 13.6, which puts him ahead of Brand and close to edging past Kobe.

Since I unfortunately live in NY now, I went to a taping of Quite Frankly with Stephen A. Smith and there was some extra time left after the show and he started taking questions and I asked him why he's so hard on Yao especially since he was averaging 20 and 10...he just denied the fact that he's ever been more hard on Yao than any other player except for Michael Olowakandi...well since he's 1 of only 4 players averaging 20 & 10, statistically those fools at espn cant deny him anymore

Well you could have at least updated the stats. :D I don't really care about the double-double thing at all. But I have to admit that it's such a big deal in the general media that I'm happy it happened because Yao's taken so much crap...

I may have posted this same thing in this thread 3 weeks ago.
