why dance around it.....its because they are black? Is that what you are saying? Sounds true to me.

Must be hard for a homie to accept being dominated by a chinese man.

I guess shaq could have used your advice when he went "ching-chong-ching-chen-Yao-chen chong.." on Ming Yao a few years back.

I don't think that was racist - even Yao didn't take it that way. God man, it's all the PC stuff - people getting so sensitive ya know? Making jokes and horsing around a bit is all in the spirit of fun and games. No one means any harm by it.

Don't invite NewYorker to start any lame thread to beg people to guess his race. Just be told that the fool is the most well-known liar and hypocrite here.

Only a racist would think that comment was not racist.

The question marks must mean you know you have said something stupid and dig yourself another hole again. Before someone calling you out, may be you should starting thinking about what lies you are going to give in order to dig yourself out of the hole. Well, I can't be around here all the time to give you advice and help you out, NewYorker. Sooner or later you will have to get smart and stop making r****ded comments. Good luck. :)

You completely missed the point of the question on the trade: Which team would improve and which would be worse? Future seasons had nothing to do with it. It's not right to compare them? Why? Shaq was better than Hakeem was in Dream's last couple of seasons. That is a fact. There is nothing wrong with saying that. Comparing the current Shaq with the current Yao is no different.

If Yao destroying Shaq in the first game didn't put the issue to rest then why will the next head to head match? Shaq started out strong and then Yao took over. Besides, head to head matchups don't tell the whole story since the NBA season has 82 games and they only play each other twice.

Yao didn't grow up in USA and English is his second language. Therefore he probably didn't understand the connotation of what Shaq said. If you don't undertand, you won't think it's racist and be offended. It's like you going to China and people throwing a subtle racial slur at you, you probably think they are just greeting you. :D

I think you got me wrong here..

    here, read it again:
I used to instance of last year to support my point that even though our team is doing better than Miami right now (because Shaq is hurt), that doesn't mean we just say Yao is better than Shaq, because if we did , it will be just like people saying that Shaq was better than Yao last year because he won a championship and Yao went to the lottery...

I agree with the rest of your post.. it's a well thought post that really makes sense ... great job..

you should be an example to follow by all the new posters that are posting nonsense because of the fact that they are YOFs.. (you know who I am talking about)..

Yao side stepped the whole thing. He never said he didn't think it was racist.

wow wow, you kinda crossed the line here..

    here's a friendly reminder:

rule #1: if you disagree with somebody, try to be respectful and express your opinion with respect.. this would help create a constructive discussion..

rule #2: when you are a newb, you dont attack respectable members and talk **** about them even if you disagree with them..

    oh and one more thing:

not to be a d!ck, but before you submit your post, you should proof-read it and make sure it makes sense and it satisfies the basic rules of English grammer... now if you dont know that u CANT use a verb with "ing" after "should", that's a different story..

oh, and by the way, maybe is one word, it's not may-be..

So you are saying Yao doesn't know when someone is making a racial slur against him? I think you are the one being a racist now in assuming that Yao isn't smart enough - I think he is smart enough, and he jokes around. Actually, I think Yao likes Shaq.

it's ok, i put him on ignore a while ago so I can't read his posts unless someone quotes him like now. He's been posting where-ever I post so I suspect he's going around and spewing a lot of nasty stuff around the BBS...but there's not much I can do about it except be light-hearted and ignore him. I do feel sad though that other members have to read it....
