Nobody cares you are an Asian or not, even a Chinese, even born in the same city as Yao, even his formal neighbour or kindergarten best friend, so what? You have the liberty to pour in trash here? If you think KG is better than Yao in every aspect, and Yao is garbage comparing to him, don't bring the proposal, nobody will do the trade. If the Wolves will do it, it doesn't mean that you are smart and take advantage of them, it just means that you are so blind and stupid, that you can't see what most people are able to.

he kicked ass in 2 of 7 games. he got the points but it still revealed the holes in his game. he`s talented, but he just needs better coaching. and for the love of god stop playing in china!!

Yao Ming will never be Hakeem Olajuwon but he will be a productive player health permitting.

My only real gripe with Yao is that he's just about a second slow on the defensive end a bit too often which costs him rebounds and fouls. With that said he's only been playing NBA style basketball for three years so he's still got room to improve. Even though he was older than the high schoolers he probably needs development time like they do aside from LeBron.

Expectations are a mofo look what they did to Kwame Brown being the first high schooler taken #1 overall. Imagine pressure from two cultures being the first freakishly tall talented center from China a country not known for hoops talent.

I'd say he's handled the pressure quite well all things considered. If we can get a bruiser athletic four to help him out he'll get even better in the years to come.

I personally would like to see us take a chance on Kwame Brown if we can get him for a low enough price. I know he's had an attitude problem in Washington but I think being around a role model like T-Mac who also came out of high school would be good for him. It probably won't make people think he was a good #1 pick but I think he can be serviceable for many years in the NBA once he gets a chance to escape the burdens he bears in DC.

yes, KG is better than Yao and you are idiotic to think otherwise. Yao has the potential to be more dominating but that`s all it is until he actually proves himself. what`s with the blind statement? making fun of my asian eyes? most ppl see that we have a 7`6 center who doesnt grab boards and doesnt block shots on a consistent basis. if he scores the points consistently to make up for that then it`s a different story.

Near 9 boards and 2 blocks isnt on consistent basis. I dont know which crack you are on, dont know if you are a troll, dont know if you are real einstein. But you really have to bitach about Yao, his biggest problem is he doesnt stay on the floor long enough and doesnt whip the guards like Hakeem did.

because KG puts up better numbers than Yao and has accomplished more than Yao and I would love to see KG in Rockets Red. Yao is still pretty raw. i apologise for the comment but he needs better coaching before he can attain the tim duncan dominance. which is what van gundy should be molding him into.

    Dude-Are you really a Rox fan ?

I just checked out the Dallas Forum and there is a whole thread giving props to T-Mac, and if you read the posts they are giving a lot of love to Yao too ! And they're the ones who won the series!

J DIDDY did you even read my post? It was about Yao facing unfair expectations based on Olajuwon being our prior #1 pick who happened to play center too.
