no one here is saying that yao will be like kg. all that is going on in this thread is comparing thier stats which are very similar.

this does not tell us that yao will be the exact type of player KG, it doesn't say that yao will put up the same the same rebounding/scoring numbers. all it does is let us look, compare and say "hey thats cool. i hope yao keeps improving like kg did."

    thats it.

I think Yao needs respect from the refs. He should be going to line more often and get more loose ball fouls called around him. He gets hammered.

Yao is not getting the respect he deserves. Notice that Amare' has a little temper tantrum and then the refs called a ridiculous foul later in the game on Yao because they were trying to make it fair. Problem is that is not fair. The refs have people foul out of games trying to guard Shaq. Should be the same thing with Yao if he is playing as good as he has been lately. Yao is getting the least respect. This is hurting the Rockets and contributes to losing games. In that last game with the Suns, we had a total mismatch in there with Yao. If he was in the game longer, we could have easily gone up by 10 points even with everyone else shooting as bad as they were.
