He's cursing about how Yao effed this one up. It's not Chinese, it's a series of symbols that embody the pain of a loss to one of the worst teams in the league.
I love Yao but he has ALWAYS been Mr. Unclutch. He has been the most reliable go to guy at the end of games this year purely because he had no other competition for it with all the injuries to the other players. I think when Yao knows he is the team's only hope he can be more dependable, but he too along with all of our stars lacks a killer instinct. It is nothing new and it does not surprise me to be honest. I am not expecting Yao to play that role anyways, since he is the inside guy.
He wasn't un-clutch today. He sucked the WHOLE GAME. Missing that last shot is the last thing i'm upset about from this game.
YAO is a good player, or even a terrific one, BUT he is NOT a superstar! There must be someone else who can make deciding shots in the final minutes. YAO has the mindset of a superstar, but he doesn't have the physical abilities. He occasionally plays great in the fourth quarter, but we really cannot expect that to happen a lot. Shaq O'Neal is much much better than YAO, but when Lakers and Heats won Championships, he had Kobe and Wade beside him and it was always those guys who made the final shots!!! We need a SUPERSTAR! A real leader!
If YAO can't stand out on the cluthtime, this team won't go anywhere.I think RA has the same opinion,so he let YAO do the cluthshot again and again.I hope YAO could learn something from this game,it was regular season,we can afford a few loss, but in the postseason,it's another situation.Don't let me down again,YAO,if you can't work it out,you are nothing.
tracy just made the last shot; ron was hot the entire quarter and we went to a guy that was 4-13 with zero impact on the game so far? at least let tracy penetrate and create or something (he had 7 assists)
HE WANTS TO, BUT HE CANNOT, because he is not a talented athlete. He doesn't have what it takes to be a superstar! His hardworking and height made him a player at this level and his body also limits him to this level. So get over the fact that YAO is not a superstar, and you won't be so disappointed.
Yao shouldn't get clutch shots unless he's in the deep low post. They would have to foul him and he can make clutch free throws. Anywhere else on the court, Yao only has one weapon, and that's his fadeaway. You don't want your 7'6 center to be shooting fadeaways when the game is on the line.
brilliant! let Yao take every single clutch shot from now until forever, he must eventually hit one! then we'll have all the Yao fans jumping up and down feeling all fuzzy about their super clutch hero! Yao can't handle the pressure.. get over it, and quit pounding the ball to him down the stretch for the love of god..I'd rather have Rafer Alston jack up 3's, at least he has a shot of them going in.. and don't even blame this on "he got hacked! no call!", this is B.S.. he was shying away from contact and took a baseline fade-away to win the game.. no one touched him..
