I am Chinese too Pryuen. As harmless it may seem in Chinese, when it gets translated into English it does become culturally insensitive. You just have to be careful and be quick to accept these differences.

But it seemed that he went there not for extracting/pulling the wisdom teeth; it was for ordinary tooth cavity fillings. And according to the article, it took only 15 minutes for the tooth cavity fillings.

Yao Ming had had workout in the past week. So I wondered why denniscd said he stopped his workout? And denniscd mentioned it was due to a wisdom tooth. Then in normal case, if you have a wisdom tooth, it will be more than just cavity filling. It is about extracting or pulling it off, right? If it was just ordinary tooth cavity filling, it would be that painful that you need to stop the workout, right?
