Yeah right! China's game plan was to slap Vietnam and then pull back. The problem with that asinine logic is because of years of fighting, communist Vietnam had an enormous and experience fighting force.

China has the size and the population but when was the last it was involved in long and costly war. This is the real logic, China thought it could bully Vietnam into submission but the Chinese commies forgot one thing: the Vietnamese commies hit back and hit back harder!

I know you're a homer for China, but quit try to rewrite history!

DO YOU KNOW THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE? That is to get married with Chinese Women Basketball player Ye Li (1.98m) on Aug.5 . So he won't play any game with the national team this summer. I am a fan from China and want to make friends with you guys.

    Extremely short Q&A from sohu.com.

    • Yao Ming flew from Shanghai to arrive Beijing this morning (July 17, 2007) with his cousin/agent Zhang Mingji of Team Yao and personal trainer Anthony Falsone.
    • He said the physical therapy stage on his right shoulder was over in Houston. Now it will be second phase of the treatment, which is about physical strength training on the shoulder.
    • He said he will be rejoining the national team on team practice, but there will not be physical contact/contest basketball.
    • He also told the reporter that per doctor's advice, he should not play basketball until September. So chances for him playing in 3rd FIBA Stankovic Continental Cup tournament in Guangzhou /Macau end July as well as playing in those August European tournaments will be slim. But he needs to meet with the CBA officials and discuss about this.

Here are photos of him entering the Tiandan Apartment of the National Sports Bureau.

So after arriving Beijing around noon today, Yao Ming returned to his strength and conditioning training together with his personal trainer Anthony Falsone.

The national team had a workout/team practice scheduled at 17:00pm.

But Yao Ming came to the national sports bureaus gym around 14:00pm and trained for 2 and 1/2 hours. Then he and Anthony Falsone jogged together around the track field......

Anyone else find it odd that his right shoulder is the one that is hurt, but he is carrying his bag on his RIGHT shoulder....

Come on Big Yao.....use the left...save the right.

Isnt it better for your knees to run/jog on grass, or on a treadmill?

Photos of Yao Ming in the team practice with the national team this afternoon. He did not join the national team in some 5 vs 5 scrimmage. He only did some strength and conditioning exercise with Anthony Falsone on his own.

It still impresses me how much Yao's body has changed from being the stick he was when he was drafted. His arms are much bigger now

Thanks for the photos. Yao looks like a monster now compared to old stick-figure photos.

Isn't CD reported to head to China to continue his workout with Yao?

It's comforting to know that Yao's shoulder is being addressed by his training. That's not something I'd like to become a (bigger) problem anytime soon.

Otherwise, he looks good. Just workin' hard as usual. Yao has the best neckbeard in the NBA! He really needs to get a new wrist string, though, 'cause that sucker is BLACK.

Yet another press opportunity for CD. I'm beginning to think that Denniscd is right about him and he is a media hound.

No one else gets the press like he does. For doing nothing

If I'm not mistaken, he is Dean Cooper, the Rockets' Director of Scouting, who was also 3-time camp director for the Basketball Without Borders Asia. He stayed behind after the BWB Asia 2007 in Shanghai to assist Yao Ming in his training, and now travelled into Beijing together with him and Falsone.
