    How about 'The Dragon' ?

    Lots of good Chinese connotation there, plus,
    for some reason, I bet it will fit him. And it kinda
    rolls off the tongue in much the same way as
    'The Dream' did..

    Sorry, I haven't mastered the quote yet

    Since the Chinese word for "Dream" (according to YaoMing) is "Mung", we could call him "Mungo"!!!

    Also, part of the video intro to the starting lineup for each game would be a clip of Ming slugging a dragon!

    Think Mel Brooks would mind?:D

    Instead of a nick name, it should be when Yao makes a shot over a defender

    it should be "In Yao mouth"

    or if Yao should dunk over somebody "In yao face"

    or when Yao breaks somebody's ankles (which I highly doubt)
    "Check Yao self fool"

    just replace Yao with your

    So how about:

    Yao "The Mung" Ming
