Justin Timberlake ...the guy that made a total ass out of himself during that game. This guy has two brain cells and they are both fighting with each other for control.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with BSB. As matter of fact, some of ttheir tunes are pretttttty ok. The problem is that the majority of BSB listeners in US are pre-teen to teenager girls. Ming need to keep it secret if he really likes to listen to them, just like many other macho guys on this BBS board.

feishen, you hit the nail on the head with fanbase. I also think that BSB doesn't come across as cheesy in East Asia since English is not the primary language. But it's a sad truth that it's all pop over here. :(

I think Yao may get into Hip-hop, R&B because of his peers, but I
don't expect his interest in pop to change.

    btw, BSB sucks gonads ;)

Also, if you think Ming needs to listen to rap/hip hop music in order to play agressive, FYI, Michael Jordan likes to listen to that mess mellow black jazz artist, (forget the name), even before the game.

Yao will be country and western soon. :D

I really don't think that the music he listens to will affect him on the court.

Hey CATO write childrens books. And we all know that CATO comes to play......................Sometimes ;)

so, how does this news jibe with this quote?

Im sure he can like multiple groups, we all do, but I wonder if he likes the Barfstreet Boys more than "sappy Chinese pop"?

Makes ya wonder...IS there a difference between the BSB and *sappy* Chinese pop?.sounds like synonyms to me..;)

Maybe Yao will start to listen to IceCube,

"When I'm on the court I'm trouble, the other day I ***ked around and scored a triple double"

Yeah rap always brings out the best in your game:rolleyes:

See, there is just too much love and romance in BSB's stuff. Ming
gotta learn how to hate. He needs to be mad like everybody else
owe him big, and get it back from the court. Killer instinct, he doenst have it right now.

If you want Yao Ming to be aggresive he should listen to Metallica, Pantera, Down, SJR, Slayer, Maiden, etc. This will get him prime for a game. \m/ :D

I think the question is "Which is your favorite music band in US".

I am a hong kong chinese and i dont even listen to american music. And I dont think everyone in the world has to listen to ameican music and understand it's music culture. Please dont judge the character of the guy by his favorite music which he's not even familiar with. Maybe the name of BSB was just pop up in his mind when the question was asked. His favorite female movie star is j. roberts, one of the most famous stars in the world.

May i ask u who's your favorite movie stars in china? jet li? jackie chan? bruce lee? who else do you know? You just dont have many choices in your mind if you are not familiar with the topic.

Don't know you were serious about music and killer instinct stuff

The problem with bsb is not love and romance alright, it's their cheesy music/tune. Vandelose (sp?) is all about love, ya know?

Tell me, what kind of killer instinct American music is ever broadcasted in China regularly?

Plus, yao has enough TOMATO (try british accent if you want to get it right) on court already. Just ask Steve about it. :D

    * Tomato, sounds like "Ta ma de" in Chinese, close to F word, which is the most popular curse word in China.
