I agree... Yes Yao is getting doubled, you would be a hater if you thought any less. The teams are playing a semi zone but until our guys start knocking down open shots more consistantly, Yao and Tmac will continue to be double teamed. How often have you seen other teams "zone" howard on the block or even Mo? Yao routinely gets a double down from a gaurd. Same with Tmac he gets the high screen and the other teams PF rolls with him lately. No other player on the squad faces the same kind of defense period. by the way im not a YOF nor am i of asian descent. I am a Rocket fan till I die
Tottaly agree with you. some of our Chineese members are playing see no evil hear no evil when yao's faults are mentioned. it's sad....
It's funny/sad that one has to put this disclaimer in a post now because otherwise one will be labeled as a YOF by some of the Yao haters.

Time to start a "firejvg.org" website and get the campaign going right now! I like Yao to be a rocket and don't want to see him going to LA with Kobe, one of my most hated NBA player. However, at this alarming rate Yao is becoming a Cato, I don't see anyway JVG can co-exist with Yao.
Doc fails to shed light on one very important thing - namely what management think of JVG, and whether they'll keep him around much longer...
Finally, finally, someone speaks the truth! When I first saw those excliaimation marks I thought it was another stupid "trade Yao" thread, I was saying to myself "let them trade him, Yao will have a much better life without these so-called fans". Thank you!
You want to force feed him at the expense of our season and winning? Yao is not capable right now to be a dominant player, and nothing the Rockets can do will change it. A light has to go off in HIS head. Yao is a terrible passer when doubled -- TERRIBLE. You can't force feed someone the ball just because one day they might be great -- Yao has had opportunities, and he's done nothing with them. I for one am not for sacrificing this season and possibly next to see if this guy will ever turn out to be as great as we hoped. It's up to him.
If you can read some of the reports from Chinese media, they're more critical of Yao than any of us can imagine here. So stop accusing Chinese members here of defending Yao.
Im tired of all of the division as well, its like a bunch of high school clicks. Every player in the league has his own weakness or character issues. This thread started out just pointing out some of the reasons why Yao is having issues and then it turns out to a argument over who likes who better and such.
And when someone mentiones some of Yao's merits or tries to defend him against criticism, it doesn't mean he's a 'Yao only fan' either. But I am also seeing a lot of posters being labelled YOF only because they are on the other side of the argument. Actually people on both sides need to grow up.
