Man i'm glad china is out of the tourney. This means yao ming will be able to join the team sooner. And he will have time to hang with the homies. I mean does china still have him? I don't think so because there season and other stuff is over. I hope he gets to sign his contact within a week.
Isn't there some other games that Ming has to play in before he comes to Houston? I thought I heard there were more.

He also has to play in the Asian Games and won't join us until 2 weeks or so before the regular season.
Let's bash Steve Francis..I mean the poster.....else he will feel that we didn't respect him much. In some ways I am glad China lost......it will take the focus away from Ming a bit even though they play the losers crap...( I think it has more to do with TV money than anything else)....it actually might make him hungrier when he comes to join us. BTW, do we know when he is signing with us?
One thing we might want to consider. Ming could be one of the best centers in terms of assists. Watching him pass the ball is better than most centers could ever be.
I think I read somewhere that Ming would train with the Rockets for a while before going to the Asian Championships, even though that would be before the start of training camp. Could anybody confirm this? Clutch, maybe?
