Well.... He's the unquestioned leader now. Unfortunate it had to happen this way, but it happened.

I know it will have to be a team effort for us to get where we need to go, but I can't recall there being any more pressure on one Rockets player than there is on Yao right now.

Rockets fans are disgusted right now.

Yao, this organization needs your best now more than ever. Show us what you got. Your time to shine.

Lets see if Yao can live up to the Number 1 overall pick and carry this team with a bunch of good talent around him.

I thought he's always been the leader this season. Never thought it really was a question.

I'm so disappointed in TMac now. I loved him so much and he is turning into a manipulative b****.

Agreed, JVG 2 years ago and Adelman last year always tried to make Yao Ming the leader for this team. It's the injuries that Yao had gone through that made T-mac the leader.

It's really unquestioned now he's our leader, not even T-Mac nut huggers can say Yao is not the leader anymore.

Right now rockects are so talented that Yao doesn't need 25+ points to win the game. Just like yesterday's game. Yao only need to step up when the team struggles in offense.

Count our blessing that Yao is not Oden.

I agree that it's time for Yao to be "The One". Win or lose; success or failure, it's going to be on Yao now. I am still relatively upbeat with Rox's current roster even without TMac. If they continue to play cohesively like they showed a couple of time this season, I believe they can still make some noise in the playoff. Wafer has to show up big time as well.

They might even get to the second round. Anything after that will be bonus

He's already lived up to the Number 1 pick hype. Especially recalling how 90% of sports writers wrote him off as a bust before he even played his first game.
