I didn't say all those things. Morey is a damn good GM. Adelman is a good coach but he's not the right coach for Yao. I haven't polluted this forum. I'm a decent poster compared to others. Just because Yao is my favorite player doesn't make me a bad person.
There's nothing wrong with that. If Yao signed an extension right now for two or three years for MLE money I think most people on this board would be ecstatic to have him on board. But Yao isn't under contract next year. And who knows what kind of offer he's looking for? We need to assess Yao's willingness to come back, along with his long-term health, before the trading deadline. Otherwise, we risk getting Grant Hill'd. Orlando wanted to bring him back at a reduced price too. Hill said "F that!" and signed at an ever lower salary with Phoenix.
First of all, you are a well-known idiot. I think a few persons have already reminded you that lakersground.com is where you belong. What are you still doing here? That said, a few other idiots give a boost to their manhood by calling out Yao's fans around here. The reason is they are too chicken **** to call out anyone registered before 2002. The name Spiegel immediately comes to my mind. Read my signature.
I have very little regard for posters who engage in Ad hominem attacks. I don't believe I've called any poster here "idiot" as you have. In the future, I will ignore you and your opinions of me are frankly worthless to me.
Actually, I think Yao would make a pretty bad role player at this point in his career. His best role, IMO, would be as a 6th man off the bench. Normally one doesn't associate that role with centers. But I think Yao would be perfect as that one guy you can rely on for offense when your big guns are resting. He can also play great defense, which is always a plus. Basically, Yao's role doesn't change, just his minutes. Make sure you squeeze the most out of his talent in very limited minutes(15-20mpg) as a super-sub.
Yao messed up by announcing a "target" date for his return. There's really no benefit by telling the media.
Ugh can you imagine that frontline!!!(starters: Yao, Gasol, Artest|Bench: Bynum, Odom, Barnes), Yao is a definite upgrade over Bynum, and having both Gasol and Yao to score inside would be scary...
Blinebury's wit: "It will be Unfulfillment Night at the Toyota Center in Houston on Tuesday. Give each fan an empty cup for Pistons vs. Rockets to commemorate the return of Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming onto the same court and the five-plus seasons of all the things they could never achieve together." Even with Yao being a no-show, the "Unfulfillment Night" theme applies even more.
LOL, swimming around in dad's sack???? I never thought I would look at life like that... Jo mama you so crazy!!!!
Here's an idea: Instead of all this tedious speculation about when Yao is coming back (again), why not do what the Roman College of Cardinals at the Vatican do when they elect a new pope: We all watch the chimneys at the Toyota Center on game days. If there's black smoke, then Yao is not playing that night. If there's white smoke, then hurrah! Yao Ming is back babee!
Haha... You are beyond being cynical. I am just indifferent, often fooled by the organizations' new slogans like "YAO IS BACK". No Mas!
Ad hominem attack? LOL. Anyway, my opinion is worthless to you and your opinion is trash to me. Shall we call it a tie? By the way, Have you found your way to Lakersground.com where you belong? In case you have problem, there is a new technology called GPS that can help you.
Spiegel is a well-known troll around here. Jo mama delivered a knockout punch to this fool with one of the best comebacks of all time.
Wow, that is a classic post. How many games has he actually played in since he was drafted? This is so frustrating. How long have we waited for the mythical duo of TMac and Yao to take us to the promised land? Will the organization ever move forward? I guess we fans should be grateful that Les didn't jump up and offer a max extension before the season started. I wouldn't have been surprised. Surely, this is Yao's final year with the Rockets. I think it would be in his best interest to retire. He has to be even more frustrated than us. p.s. won't let me give you any more reputation points.
