Practicing entry passess is no use. Head/Alston/Battier has been practicing for 2 seasons already. What's the result?

Basically Brooks/Head/Alston are too short. Did you even see them try a pump fake to get their defenders off balance and pass? No. They all got frozen.

Bonzi/Battier/T-Mac are better entry passer because of their height. Bozni is an under-rated passer.

Brooks can actually make a bounce pass to Yao, which is pretty freaking impressive. He's obviously a much better passer than Head or Alston, so I don't think he should be lumped in with them.

After the last couple of screw-up's he should be getting a lot more play off of the bench.

It's amazing and unbelievable that Yao said this.

"On their 4Q collapse, Yao Ming felt that there was no desire in the team to win. He said: "In the 4th quarter yesterday, there seems no one in the team really care or want to win. We're just wasting our time there on the court. And that included me."

Why is he saying he is also wasting time on the court in the 4th? It does not make sense. If he is implying he did not want to win or really care in the 4th, then why did he not try to win. He did not explain why he did not try to win or really care which is what Yao should explain. In fact, it would be good if Yao could explain his reason for not caring or wanting to win plus if he could
express his thoughts on solving such problem.

Yao cant call out the team and exclude himself. If Yao does that, he will alienate his teammates.

Yao really looked pissed off in the 4th quarter of the Phillies game. I wonder if the team will enter full meltdown mode.

I do think he is calling out himself also because he suddenly start to brick in the 4th after a perfect %FG in three quarters. But then calling out himself and his team would not help much if such play continues. Anyway, I would presume he would fix whatever cause him to brick in the 4th in the future
as he is always trying to improve but he could probably help more if he voiced his concern on the unprecedented errors that his team mates made.

No, Yao did not say "Worst moment of his life", It is more like "dark time" rather than "darkest time". I think what Yao said has been exaggerated in translation.

Sinking ship? Since Yao you have the bigger size i guess you are the one who cos the ship to sink faster. So do something to improve the situation instead of trying to fault others!

Translation: Yao is the superstar of the team, he has to bear all the responsibilities dont blame on the role players like Rafer or Head. If they didnt play well, as a leader and superstar, you have to voice it out during the game not after the game! Damn it!

Yao should just call out Rafer and Head without the usual "but I'm at fault too" junk.

Stop being a wussy and just tell Rafer to make better entry passes. Rafer plays better under criticism/pressure anyways...

Well I did not translate it as "worst moment of my life". It is "the darkest moment of my life." Please read again.

how about stop complaining and making it seem like he's going to die after every loss. man up and do something about it.

tmac talks alot of crap where he just doesn't think, but yao talks alot of "glamorous" crap (or it might be due to the fancy translation).

everyone just needs to stop and start doing something about it. we don't care what you say, we care about how you play.

I'd like Yao for once instead of getting frustrated to get angry.

Instead of being a gentleman, to be a competitor

Where' the fire in his eyes?

Instead of turning to the ref with his hands up when he doesn't get a call?

Maybe he needs to yell at the ref and him him a piece of his mine get get kicked out of a game - at least so people start paying attention to the fact that something's wrong.

Maybe he needs to just throw and elbow here or there. Take the ball strong and even if he gets a few offense fouls, make them the kind of fouls that hurts the defender and makes them think twice about getting in his way.

That's part of being a big man in the NBA.

Instead of saying we're on a sinking ship and have to make changes - why doesn't he tell us the changes he's going to make????

Yao needs to stop crying and adresss head and alston for sinking the ship the last 2 games, he also needs to look at that point blank shot he missed the other day against the hornets. He needs to stop beating around the bush and get to the point on what he's talking about. Lead and quit with all these poems and sayings.

It's looking like more adn more everday that we have a team of pessimistic players. No optimism with this team, everything is just negative,no belief,no hope,no will to win from Yao/T-mac all the way down. You can see why there has been no 2nd rounds in 4 seasons with this core.

Yao and Tracy look like they don't know how to win.Seems like they are always looking around trying to find somebody, some one to teach them or walk them through the satges on how to win. These dudes don't know how to win and it's a big reason why in 4 season together they can't get out of the first round. Blame jeff, now blame rick, what is it goin to take for these dudes to see it's them that need to change. These dudes need to look in the mirror and take soem resposnibility as so called super stars and learn how to over come adn win.

Wouldn't hurt if we had the former basketball player known as the Franchise.
