    Considering that Sina is nothing more than a tabloid site, your claims of "the shady world of Chinese reporting" does not reflect poorly on the Chinese media. It reflects poorly on you.

    Well, there are designated Chinese reporters stationed in Houston, designated to follow every games of Yao Ming and the Rockets. So alot of the time, they need not make things up. Moreover, the reporter already indicated that those were hearsays only that TMAC requires a surgery, or that injury was a career-threatening one.

    And the following from Jonathan Feigen's article on today's Houston Chronicle proved that what the Chinese reporter wrote yesterday could turn out to be GENUINE. :rolleyes:
