Rfila, I thought that's what I was doing with the post. I was showing people that the 12 shots don't reflect how mny times he could have shot the ball. This isn't nba2k9 were adelman can push a button to tell yao to shoot. When he has a advantage, he needs to take advantage. Tonight, he established good position on the blocks. He made a decisive move and eventhough a double came late, he stepped through and made a 6ft shot. That's what he has to do. The coach can't really get him any closer. He has to adjust and be decisive. If he touches 21 in scoring position, he needs to shoot 17 times. No one will ever say anything. If he gets those same touches and only shoots 12 times, that's his bad. He's close enough, he just needs to be deceisve and aggressive.

Unfortunately, that is not the way to to it.

to do so, you need to do two major things among others.

    1) compare the number of touches of different games with the same number of shots. or the ratio of shot/touch. You need to prove the decline of the ratio is the main reason, if not the only reason.

    2) compare the "quality" of touches, or the purpose of the touches of different games.

I am not saying the ratio has not changed or the quality has changed. We can discuss this. But your report has nothing to do with either of them because of no comparison with previous games, thus has nothing to do with what you intended to do.

PMAC........ would if you get fouled dunking and miss it which is very likely.

Who do you want then Yao or Howard?

I get annoyed when people have a more complete game than others but do not fit the tradition others demand and therefore never get credit.

Who will more people remember Vince Carter or Dream?
I think it will be VC, but why?SPORTSCENTER

I doubt it...Dream won two championships and is considered one of the best centers in the history of the game. VC is not considered the best of anything and will probably be forgotten as soon as he retires since we have Lebron and Wade to provide the dunks now. The only thing VC has done that will probably live on is his dunk over the Frenchman during the Olympics. I don't think anybody can duplicate that stunt in a real game...ever :p
