Are you saying 6 weeks to heal and then another 6 weeks to rehab it? If so that's 3 months. Unless somehow the Rockets make it to the Conference Finals without Yao, he's done for the year.
In Bull's game, I saw Yao is not happy and looks painfull for some reason. Hope not serious and can come back for playoffs. I belive our other guys can make the playoff. really unlucky We have so good chance to win all. Go Rockets.
Unfortunately, things like this happen to people that are that big. I don't ever expect Yao to play 82 games EVER.
This is just terrible. How did it get to the point of a stress fracture? We have some incompetent trainers, doctors. Adelman should have known better than to play him all those minutes. Deke was hardly even used to relieve him. Now Deke will get plenty of playing time.

i think we'll make the playoffs. our schedule is not that bad and we're deep this yr. what i'm pissed is that we have a true chance at the championship this yr and now it's disappearing in front of our eyes in a matter of hours. now we can only pray tmac can strap up and carry this team as far as he can. scola and landry will get MAJOR minutes from now on and hopefully they'll contribute. it's time for landry to become a star RIGHT NOW. and pray for a good matchup with the nuggets or hornets in the playoffs my week is ruined.
I swear we have be cursed by Charles Barkley. Since he played for the rockets we never won anything. He played for the suns they never won anything and he played for the sixer damm they never won anything. Charles has cursed all the teams he played for. I hate him
