And you guys called me stupid for wanting to see YAO finally WIN SOMETHING ( remember that all star game thread...i wanted yao to play more for the All star MVP )...But you guys called me out saying "lets rest him and win a CHAMPIONSHIP"....now yao gets no championship, no mvp, no all star mvp, nothing. nada ZIP.
I remember Yao had issues with his shoulder before the season. anyone knows if this is completely healed? if this requires surgery, can he do it now?
lol you're pretty f'ing r****ded aren't you. He specifically requested to play less minutes during the game. If he played longer, he could have potentially risked actually making the injury much worse. Even though he played a few games after the all star game, in hindsight, not playing much during the AS game was the right move. all star mvp is not important anyways, and it's not easy to win when almost everyone else is trying to win it. A center winning over a guard aint easy.
It doesn't make you genius for wanting Yao to play the whole game and cause even more damage to his foot.
yao has to find a way to manage his feet or body in general. tmac's back was becoming extremely problematic but he finally found a way to manage it and his back hasn't bothered him. it's the other injuries. so either we need to cut back his minutes, have him do some other workouts that will strengthen his feet/body, or advise him to cut back on the china games unless they are the olympics. just figure out a way. yao is too valuable to play 20 minutes or something like that. he's at a stage where he's dominant and when you are dominating, u should play a lot.
