We need a big body on Haywood. I see Mutombo playing about 15 minutes.

I would like to see Hayes in there to hold Jamison.

If its a Stress Fracture, Yao will be out 2-3 weeks resting. That is the only cure for it. I just hope thats not it. :(

what kind of doctors do we have here? first they let it be that tmac's injury was nothing serious and it was.

Calm down guys... We don't know anything yet. Just because there's a press conference doesn't necessarily mean it's that serious, it's just out of the blue.

Well, I do remember a doctor press conference/interview type thing when McGrady had the MRI on his elbow tendon. Maybe, the doc is just going to be going over the results and setting a timetable for his rehab etc. like he did before?

    Edit: Ok, nevermind...

Houston Rockets center Yao Ming will be out the rest of the season and post-season with a stress fracture in his sore left foot.

Yao was examined after Monday’s practice at Memorial Hermann Hospital and met Rockets team physician Dr. Tom Clanton to go over the test results.

The Rockets plan to announce a diagnosis Tuesday afternoon.

The Rockets have won 12 consecutive games since losing the one game Yao has missed this season.

    WTF!!!!

I hope that Chron article is wrong. It's sounds like a cruel April Fool's joke.

that's why i'm questioning our damn doctors. they said tmac's knee was nothing serious initially and he ended up missing 11 games.

they let yao play on his foot and said it was nothing serious and now it's a stress fracture. he will not only miss the rest of the reg. season, but ALSO THE POST-SEASON.

we have zero chance of winning a ring right now and it pisses me off. i'm going to break something today. good god.

We will be fine without Yao because we still have Scola and Landry. Of course, we can't underestimate Wizards' eager for wins. They did win a tough back-to-back game some time ago. Anyway, I believe we will win this battle.
