Yao Ming on NBA.COM commercial! About 15 minutes ago, I saw a commercial on NBA.com that featured Yao Ming leading/practicing some martial arts training (with accompanying Asian music in background of course) with some other folks, some in Rockets unis...and Clutch the Bear!! Great stuff. At the end, he says (quite well) "I Love this Game". Gotta love it.
I didn't catch that one. The team has done a great job promoting the Rockets this year. Kudos to the marketing team!
I agree, looks like him, but didn't want to put my neck that far on the chopping block. Hey, the Hawk got some additional 15 minutes of fame! W&S, did you see this one already, or did you just catch it at the same time? (btw, it's hard to get a new scoop of Yao Ming information before you do, you are amazing)

Really? Surprised I missed that. Wish I could search, haven't been able to for some time... That's interesting that they've been showing that in China. It can't have been on NBA.com TV for a while, because I keep the TV on tuned on that channel quite a lot. Which can be painful given that they show that putrid Adam Sandler commercial every ten minutes it seems. Thanks for the responses, all. Coming off that immensely satisfying performance against Indy, that commercial made me downright giddy - it's so great having a exemplary ambassador to the game of basketball in Houston once again.
It is a very cool commercial. Yao Ming leads a group of people playing Taiqi(spell?). Hawkins and the Cluth bear are in that group too. At the end the bear fell down (very funny) and then Ming said "I love this game."
