I voted for Yao on this board,no doubt about it. And given that we had a toughest December schedule in the West than any other team did,Yao's performance really should be awarded with a POM.Despite his poor performance against Wizards,he still did a pretty good job by carryin' the Rockets along with Ron Ron and T-Mac(not 100% yet). I must say,10-5 is impressive enuf,I was wondering why do so many people who rooted for the Rockets every game just didn't look at the bright side of the stats. We did lose to some Scrubs teams, yep,it deserved criticism. Brandon Who?Is he clutch? Is he carryin' the Blazers on his shoulder alone?I see it not. They have a healthy and stable starting lineup and not so many injuries as WE DO.He's not a lone star, with so many help from his teammates,he woulda been traded if he hadn't put up such a sensational performance.
two game doesnt determine a player, every player has at least few bad games i no season.. no matter how great a player, he/she is.
no suprise there. those players are better overall players and in for pom month in month out years after years. i think the league just wants to let other guys have a chance.
