Apologies for not suffering pretension gladly. No apologies for pointing out what an insufferable misogynist you are. You've quite a bit to learn. You've been here for three years, put some money in the tip jar.
So this is cool? You're threatening to kill me? Some new era we have here at the BBS. I've been coming here for seven years and haven't dealt with anything like this. I wrote a lot of nice things about this message board last August, and meant them. Now I'm starting to wonder. I don't need this. I work too hard, come here under my own name and allow for each of my thoughts to be on record under an easily searchable guise. Talk to me when you start posting (and threatening people) under your real name -- we'll find out what's "safe" and what isn't. If you have a real problem, I'm in the book. Anxiously awaiting your call, or email. I have a good feeling I'll never hear from you, though. What with the "real name" business and all. Some people don't have the nerve for it. For now, I'm done with this place.
I feel so bad about this. Kelly has written a lot of nice thing about the Rockets. He also came here sharing his thoughts. And you guys treat him like that? At least, show some respect. I really feel very bad about this.
This was all embarrassing to read... a real eyesore for the board. I just cringed going through it. I'm not going to let Yao Ming fanatics ruin the board and use their pack mentality to shout down intelligent discourse that doesn't kiss Yao's feet 24-7. It's so ridiculous to watch these people accuse a poster of not being a Rocket fan for saying something that isn't 110% pro-Yao. If people like this chase off quality posters like durvasa, JimRaynor55 and KellyDwyer, then a huge, huge disservice is done to the community. Yes, Yao Ming won "Player of the Month" and that's impressive no matter what, but this mess all started because one guy -- in one line -- mentioned that he thought someone else's month was better. Refute it intelligently... don't post this crap because you all sound like a bunch of monkeys.
I donnt know why you guys wrote so much stuff about this topic. In my opinion, it is pretty simple. Yao's personal data (points per game, rbs, etc ) is at the same level as Duncan,Dirk,Boozer, etc. But obviously he is much more important for rox in last month than anyone else for their teams. Let's think about why Nash is the MVP of last two seasons. I believe that voters apply same criterion there.
