Of course Yao feet haven't been healing properly. Ever since he been injured. We see him doing a whole bunch of charities and who knows what on his two feet. Every week we see his pictures at some events. The guy should've just disappear to Hawaii and relax. The guy should be in a wheel chair for goodness sake for the first 2 months but instead they let him walk around with that cast. Freaking stupid doctors...
Let us just wait and see. It is a concern but it is still early and the important thing is that there is a sign of improvement. ( feeling no pain )
Sure, that doesn't sound good at all for us and for the team, but come on, it is not time to panic. His foot still has a lot of time to heal.
No pain is a redeeming feature.Slow healing with that size does sound like possible surgery down the line, that would be really bad. I think the doctors are already thinking about that.
This Tom Clayton guy just plain sucks. He might have a reputation in the past but I am not sure what shiznit he has been smoking in the past couple years that messed up his brain. First he admitted that he "made a mistake" on Tmac's injury, then now Yao's foot ain't healing under his stupid treatment that apparently just does not work. This guy just does not seem to know what he is doing anymore.
trade yao. the dude is weaker than glass. we give him a free pass and not tmac? yeah, ok. nice/hard working or not, doesnt make sense from a bball perspective when we cant get a full season out of yao.
I don't know what to get out of the news ... I had the worry that the CBA would be tempted to play Yao in this year's Asian Championship if his medical checkup came out he had healed fast like usual. I know they said they wouldn't but the allure of money and winning the thing can make people forget what they promised. And then a few people in this thread have said that Yao has been on his feet traveling and participating in charities. I think it depends on what the course of action they are going to take to know if we should be worried. Not all fractures are the same and some take a little longer than others. I think he and the doctors will find a solution to this setback and he will be ready for preseason. And hopefully has plays almost a full season again and all the playoffs this time around.
Yao's hairline fracture not healing Does anyone know if this is a big deal or not? "The exam revealed that the hairline fracture in Yao's left foot has not responded to the current treatment program." http://www.kansascity.com/490/story/1276254.html
Ach, I certainly hope there's no validity to that... Why would a paper in Kansas City be reported that before the Chron?
why on earth would we not keep this info secret? This is dumb as hell. We should be like the Pats and not reveal any medical info. This only hurts our bargaining position for a player like Amare. Freaking stupid.
This is what I first thought when I heard the news as well. Could this be a way of getting Yao to rest during the off-season?
How does this really hurt us? Is Yao's injury not going to make Phoenix rebuild or save money? (i'm assuming they rebuild if trading Amare is an option) For Phoenix, they will lose Amare after this upcoming season anyways. They just want to get something out of it before he leaves.
I actually saw this on sportingnews earlier. Im not too worried about it I will be concern if was going into training camp.
