Damn I feel bad that the innocent Yao is a badboy now and drops profanity all over the place. I remember that one game where the camera was on him and he was sitting on the bench and all of a sudden he goes "F-CK!" and you can clearly tell.

It's good that he's most dominant and emotional but I don't think he needs the profanity, it detracts from his respected image.

Actually being a deaf person and growing up lip reading..

    He said

    "You can't ****ing stop me"

    Thats what he said..

And this is great that he is finally coming out of his shell and being assertive.. He needs to have that kind of mentality to show that he will be the next dominate man in basketball.

you guys worried too much! During one of the asian championship games played between China and South Korea. after a monster dunk. Yao shouted the "****", of course in Chinese. From the interview afterwards, he was really not aware that his voice was transmitted through the hidden-mic to like xxxxxxx number of Chinese.

And this doesn't hurt his so-called GOOD IMAGE at all.

....and this is why I selected him as my 2007 NBA MVP. Yao is a problem.

This finally came. But it's not without a hint. Days ago he said to a reporter (Chinese media) "well everyone think I'm a push-around? Ho ho, we'll see". Now we see.

I think basically he realized we can not just sit there praying for TMac to come back any more. He has to stand out, no where to hide. That's why he also called out the referee.

Imaging if we're already a playoff without TMac. What would we be with TMac. Make it real, Rockets!

Well, he could say "You can't stop me", but I don't like the 4-letter word. You don't hear that word or other cursing words from Mike Jordan's mouth, Bird's mouth, Nash's mouth, Kobe's mouth, or TMAC's mouth. But these guys are still considered the most aggressive player in the league. They don't try to use cursing words to show their confidence. If Yao want to learn from some models, follows the guys above.

When I was learning to speak Spanish, then Italian, I realized that it's EASY and FUN to curse in another language. I'm not saying it's always a good thing, but even the sleaziest words seem much less harmful if you didn't grow up attaching all sorts of negative associations to them. I would imagine Yao would be more reticent to curse in his own language around others who speak that language. But in English, it's meaningless to him.

there's a difference between trying to massacre everyone driving to the hoop or dunking the ball to what he did.

if he's going verbal with his assaults they need to be indirect like a "f--- yeah" instead of what he said. what he said just agitates the opponent and loses some respect from them.

All-star guards like Wade and Nash are never gonna get the Yao "special" treatment. Even scrub guards don't get the Yao "special" treatment.

TD, KG and Dirk are more comparable to Yao, since they are all-star big men and more likely to get the Yao "special" treatment.
