The language is probably pretty much NBA-speak... or more correctly, gym-speak. After all, Yao is spending most of his time around his teammates. It would be a surprise if he's in the minority on the team using "everyday expletives". But I understand the desire of some here for Yao fit an image that we had when he first arrived here. The problem is, we don't know that he might have used similar words in Chinese during his life and we wouldn't have known it. Colin Pine might have a better idea. The words used are not as essential as the emotion being expressed. I think he has taken his share of abuse since he's been in the league. Sometimes one does what seems dishonorable to save honor. Trash talk is quintessential in American Pro sports. But it still shocks people to see it caught on tape when it's someone you assumed wouldn't say such things. Yao is Yao. I think his core values are intact.
He shouldn't do it after every block, but it'd be so cool to see him do it once after an embarrassing one.

im definetly going to agree with kawins i dont know how u can think those players never cussed during the game. u'll be hard pressed to find a player who hasnt cuzzed in a game...any sport for that matter
