Oh man. Bird and Jordan probably have the worst mouths in the history of the NBA. What those guys said on the regular made what Yao said like kids' stuff.
Bird said the cockiest things on the court, I believe, and Jordan as a close second. What Yao says is just what any dominating superstar should say
Well, all members of the BBS are allowed to post their replies (including rookies), while only members and above can make threads, and senior member is just a title, and Contributed member are those who donated $10 to the Tipjar (ask R2K where it is) and Clutch updates their status.
I don't think he's trash talking Kaman specifically. If you read what he's been saying lately then you'd probably see he's becoming very frustrated with what opposing centers are getting away with when guarding him. He's getting no love from referees.
Lol at some of these comments about the great players not saying curse words... My own mother says curse words. Cursing does not mean that a person has bad character.
You are kidding right???, and you call yourself a rockets fan??? if not....what the hell are you doing on this board????
Does it matter? It's not like Yao knowingly cussed in front of a camera. He was far from any microphone, as evidenced by the debates on what Yao really said(BTW, he said "You can f***n stop me.")
Just a little advice: Answering 15 different people with a one-liner each in a separate post, clogging up most of a page is not a good practice here.
Don't worry.... in englishe it reads "try f***ing stop me" , but in chinese , it reads "thank you very much". Yao is still that good boy from china....
I still say that the video does not support the claim. Yao did not say what many of you folks are saying he said. This is pure wishful thinking.
I think all of the members who are saying that Yao didn't say what the thread title implies are in denial. Look at his body language and the look on his face. He is clearly talking trash. To an American player who I'm sure doesn't speak a lick of Chinese. He said 'Just try to f-ing stop me/it'. It's clear as day and not even debatable. Like I said before, there is a psychological part of the game, and Yao is getting that now. Defeat your opponent's willpower and you win the battle.
what he said was in the Rockets half court after the clippers took a timeout, it was not really in his opponents face under the rim or anything so YAO is only pumping himself not disrespecting anyone.
As soon as Yao become a not nice guy on the court, Rockets win a NBA title, stop be nice thing, this is NBA, not a kid school.
