I don't believe that. Let's face it, when the reporters are interviewing players/coaches, it still the same answer to all.

Photos that I borrowed from the site administrator of YMM to share with you guys.

These 2 photos were taken right after Day 5 (Saturday) session. You can see Big Yao was fully exhausted, with ice packs on both of his thighs/knees. Evidently he must have done much more running in Saturday's practice than the ones he did on Friday.

Interestingly, that guy, Wang Meng, was also there in Austin to cover the training camp, as evident from the 2nd photo. Let's see if he has something interesting on Titan Sports/Tom.com that is worth my translation to share with you guys.

longbow111 said the real situation in chinese website. Because Feigen or other reporters can get the first source from Rockets. However, sometimes they didn't mention where it is from when they translated the news.

Well, what Longbow111 mentioned is NOT ALWAYS the case.

There are Chinese reporters from the various sports newspapers (e.g. Titan Sports or Basketball Pioneers) or Chinese websites (sina.com, sohu.com or tom.com) (like this guy Wang Meng as shown in the photo above) working in USA based in Houston, and their only job/task is full coverage of Yao Ming and the Rockets. Sometimes, they also managed to get first hand information well ahead of Jonathan Feigen, Fran Blinebury or the like from Houston Chronicle.

Like this shoulder injury of Yao Ming was reported by Wang Meng as early as June, at least 3 months earlier than Houston Chronicle, which only reported it right after Yao Ming's physical check on October 4.

Thank you, pryuen. You know more than me.
But, most of the case is like I said.

It used to be that case. But now more and more if a particular article is from alternate sources, they will quote it, say at the beginning of the article, like, as reported in Houston Chronicle, or from NBA Rockets.com.

Mini Clutch makes his first appearance in training camp.

    Even mascots help out.

    I love this team!

That is David Macha, the strength and conditioning coach for the Rockets. And we all know David Macha is not a tall guy. :D
