seriously, threads like this deserve a ban. or at least a temporary moratorium on rookies starting threads.
well im not gonna attack you like others on the board, however, i just want to let you know that everyone has off nights you can't expect someone to just come back after a five day rest and dominate at a 60 percent clip. Also, he got 16 and 14 i don't think that exactly qualifies as soft... and mentioning eddy curry's name in the same sentence as yao ming doesn't exactly help your claim... watch eddy curry play and im pretty sure you will reconsider that statement... EDDY CURRY for YAO MING ????? heh lol
Hmmmmm eventhough Orlando beat Detroit by double digits today, Superman (aka Dwight Howard) only got 8 points and 8 rebounds!!! Dwight Howard is SOFT! Let's trade Yao for Dwight Howard and the thread opener for a sack of Meat and Potatoes!
1) I totally disagree with the first post in this thread 2) I love the double standard that exists when it comes to criticizing Yao vs. criticizing McGrady 3) #2 was an attempt at sarcasm
Sam, I think Clutch needs to come up with a negative ratings number. I'd give this thread somewhere around a minus seven. (that's a -7, so the thread starter can understand what I'm saying)
You forgot Erik Dampier and Jerome James. I saw them both dunk once. They are clearly superior to Yao. Dwight Howard scored 8 points and got 8 rebounds tonight. His team blew out the Pistons, but I heard they are working the phones trying to trade him for Nazr Muhammad or Francisco Elson.
Yes, Yao is soft, but trade him for Eddie Curry, Elton Brand, Emeka OKafor, Bynum, possibly Camby? are you lose your mind or too naive?
It's so lucky for us to have an above average center who gets 20+ pts, 10+ rbs, 2+ blks and 2+ assts. It's so lucky for us to have a soft center who always draws double team on the offensive end, but we don't have to double team the opponents' center even it is D. Howard. Thank god for sending us Yao, even he is soft and only above average.
