This team will somewhat struggle without mac. not like last year though. with Stevie and james in the fold we finally got two legit scoring backcourt players.
Please do not turn this thread into another T-Mac Vs. Yao flame war. Without T-Mac last year, we wouldn't have even been in the playoff hunt. He kept us afloat all throughout Yao's injury period, with help from Juwan Howard and Deke. Without Yao, the team cannot by any means consider itself a title contender. Big men are essential in the chase for a championship, just look at the trend the past few years. Shaq, though he wasn't as big a factor as he was in previous years, was instrumental in the Heat's championship run. Duncan and Shaq have most of the championships of this decade; only Detroit has won without a legitimate big man. Then again, Ben Wallace was a prime-time lane clogger for them. I guess what I'm trying to say is that they're Houston's big two. Arguing who should be considered 'the franchise player' is useless. This has been said over and over again, I don't know why people keep fighting about it.
You cant Tango by you'reself. both tracy and yao are equally important. if our final aim is to win a championship, we need both these guys healthy and raring to go.
Once I read the news on the internet in this morning, there has been a strong feeling came up to me: will pryuen translate the rubbish into English and post the translation on the cluch bbs without considering the accuracy or the authenticity of the news? Bingo! You such an idiot! In your post ,you said Beijing morning as the media source. Ok!Everybody, please check out the link above, could someone tell me where the very single word Beijing is? it is sina morning!! You are telling a lie!!! Why you change the media name? the persuasion of reliable source from newspaper is much better than the web, huh? What do you want ? Most Chinese web media, especially sina, always post contortive and false threads Cause the editors of web media in china don’t worry about themselves to be charge with the law responsibility for fake news .why? they know there is no statute pertinent to web media right now in china, so they can do everything they want to raise the click ratio. Please tell me when and where the editor covered Yao? Could you show me some pics, pryuen? If you cant, of course you cant, please do not translate these rubbish to cluch fans next time!!
Now Yao Ming will be always known as the great center but always injury prone, and with the shoulder injury that is scheduled to come up in 2 years time, I just hope we can make further progress into the playoffs before that time comes. The thought just depresses me.
WOW !!! WOW !!! I made a mistake in saying Chen Min is a reporter of Beijing Morning Post instead of Shanghai Morning Post, which is a subsection of Jie Fang Daily, one of the biggest newspapers in China, based out of Shanghai................ http://www.jfdaily.com.cn/gb/jfxww/shouye/index.html And even though it was my oversight in the mistake, do you need that kind of strong reaction, throwing all these personal attacks/insults in accusing me telling lies or calling me an idiot?? Do I deserve being insulted this way after spending 5 hours in the translation of these 2 articles?? If you think they are rubbish, then you can skip reading them !! Here is the links from the original news from the website of Jie Fang Daily. http://www.jfdaily.com.cn/gb/jfxww/xlbk/xwcb/node27320/node27328/userobject1ai1741762.html http://www.jfdaily.com.cn/gb/jfxww/xlbk/xwcb/node27320/node27328/userobject1ai1741759.html
oh!pryuen!!why you reedited ShangHai morning instead of BeiJing morning as the cover sourse at 04.29AM after my reply-post at 04.18AM? do you really want nobody can figure out what I am talking about beijing morning ,huh?
Actually the original source of that post is from JFDaily's Morning Post instead of Beijing Morning Post. Pryuen may have overlooked this because in the Chinese version, it only mentioned "Morning Post" reporter Chen Min and didn't mention which "morning post". If you checked www.morningpost.com.cn, you will find that it belongs to Beijing Morning Post, I beleive you will agree that everyone can be easily misled. Here is a link to Beijing Morning Post's web site In fact if you click the hyperlink in that Chinese article, you will be led to www.jfdaily.com.cn, this is the link to the original post in JFDaily I think you are over-reacted here. [Edit: Oops, I am really slow here...]
i will reply you tomorrow cause i gonna do something important right now,but i will give you the detail reason why i have such an overreaction like you said.
HEY....What EXACTLY do you want from me ?? You accused me for lying....and I further checked the Internet to verify whether Chen Min works for Beijing Morning Post or Sina.com. I found out that I made a mistake in messing up the right source of the article. I re-edit my articles and changed it back to Shanghai Morning Post, and provide the original links of that 2 articles from the newspaper site. If you have concern about the accuracy or the authenticity of the news...then as I have said just skip reading them. No one had asked you to.
so Pryuen made a mistake. big deal. just because it's on the sina doesn't automatically mean it's rubbish. this's NOT an editorial. this is a transcript of the interview.
Well i am in Shanghai right now. Although i did not talk with Yao face to face, as far as we know Yao, he would not make comments on anybody like this : "unstable Tracy McGrady ". I just hate the newspaper and translaters, maybe they are the "unstable" ones. Do trust on the stupid newspaper.
Yeah you just found out that I am a crazy old man, a loyal die hard Yao Ming fan, who got nothing to do, but spent 5 hours of my time in translating 2 articles to share with other Yao Ming and Rockets over here in Clutfan site news about Yao Ming and got the kick out of it by being name called as idiot and liar and I am now over thrilled with joy and excitement for such treatment !!
Pryuen made a minor mistake and you seem extremely pissed off --- like one of pryuen's biatch finally got the chance to win an argument, awesome. good work marvin, good work.
actually what Yao said according to the article is " TMac is more like a unstable factor ". I am not sure what Yao actually meant by that. to me, it's possible Yao didn't convey what he thought clearly here. it's not necessarily a fabricated quote.
Well, Yao is human. I would be even more shocked if he didn't entertain jealous thoughts once in a while. I find it nice that he's open about these things - none of that masochismo stuff you find in American players.
Maybe , just maybe, he meant by "Unstable" that tracy injury status is allways up in the air. he probaly meant that he needs to step it up inthe case of us losing tracy in case of a injury.lets not make rash decisions or jump into wild conclusions about what yao meant. yao dosent have a nasty bone in he's body.
Hey rookie, I'll be very upset if you drive pryuen out of this site and stop translating. He made mistakes in translations, so what. He is just doing the translations for all of us here. Believe it or not, its your choice. Can you just point out the mistake politely and pay some respect to the die hard Yao fan who did a lot for this site? Mind you, lots of Yao's inteview in Chinese are much more in depth than any English media.
